ACM10080 Introduction to Applied and Computational Mathematics
REVIEWSMODULE INFO
imo don't take it unless you need to, as it is quite difficult if you haven't done applied maths for LC (which is whom this module is designed for..). however, the exam is based on before-seen exercises in class so an A+ is definitely possible
if you haven’t done applied maths / physics for leaving cert it’s a lot of work
I would recommend, basically LC physics, it doesn't get terribly tough.
Excellent module for learning the fundamentals of Applied Maths, if you did not take it for the leaving
Anyone that has done applied maths before should breeze through this module, the average midterm score was around 90%.
quite challenging unless someone has done Applied Maths in the Leaving Cert.
