BMOL10030 Biomedical Sciences: Understanding Human Disease.
REVIEWSMODULE INFO
Super interesting module, really recommend taking it if interested specialising in any biomedical subject (pharma, genetics etc). Would not recommend as an elective as quite content dense & requires fair amount of study
The content is pretty interesting but so heavy. A lot to get through, makes it hard to study for exams. There’s not much guidance as to what you need to recall. Kind of like LC biology in that sense
No good resouces for predicting what is going to be on the final exam, past papers aren't made available.
covers several topics but without excessive detail.
most interesting 1st year module I did, tought very well
this module covered a broad range of topics and without it I wouldn`t be as certain picking my choices for Stage 2 science within the biological stream.
It is really interesting and there are no practicals or tutorials, the mastering biology online assignments are easy
It was a really good foundation module especially if you want to go on into streams such as pharmacology, biochemistry, genetics, neuroscience, microbiology, or physiology
The exam was more detailed and difficult than Cell Biology although the material is interesting.
Was my favourite module in first year! The lectures were really well presented and enjoyable.
