Terrible module. Delivered online which is its only saving grace, but the module content is boring and delivered only via recorded lectures. There are no external resources provided (not even the textbook is linked), and the optional textbook is outdated and unhelpful. Furthermore, the actual later assessments given can't be done through lecture content alone. I have no idea how students would figure this stuff out using just the content provided. I even tried with the textbook and there wasn't anything helpful in there. On the other hand, the assessments are graded mercifully.

assignments are very basic coding assignments and do not really promote good coding in students.

Definitely. It's quite an enjoyable module and really gets into problem solving skills, and how to keep work clean and concise.
