ECON10030 Introduction to Quantitative Economics
This module introduces students to mathematical methods used in solving economic problems. These quantitative techniques will be illustrated by application to basic economic concepts.
To be able to take this module:
STUDENTS MUST HAVE ACHIEVED AT LEAST A GRADE OF O3 IN LEAVING CERTIFICATE MATHS (or equivalent).
STUDENTS WHO DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT MUST PASS THE MODULE MATH00010 OR MST00050 BEFORE ATTEMPTING ECON10030.

If you’re anyway decent at calculus and did HL maths you’ll laugh at this module
super easy to pass, super easy to do well. the professor is really nice. you don't need to be good at econ to get a good grade, however, since it's very math-based (may be a challenge if you're not good at math) i was literally fighting for my life in econ10770 and did very well in this course. assessments are all mcq's.
