EEEN20050 Digital Electronics: from gate to system
REVIEWSMODULE INFO
The first module you'll do as an EE that really emphasises practical skills and lab work. It starts out easy, but gets dramatically more difficult towards the end. The last assignment in particular was a real shock and you absolutely need to spend a lot of time on it to complete it to a good standard. Everything else is pretty straightforward though so don't let that scare you too much. What helps is that the grading/marking is very fair and even lenient in my experience, although it can be all too easy to make silly mistakes in the exams. I will say that the content towards the end got pretty boring (in my opinion) and a lot of it is irrelevant for labs/exams, but if you enjoy the material, you'll love it. Good module overall with a very supportive lecturer.
Great module, which summaries the behavior of fundamental digital components. Interesting labs and assignments
great module, first time we properly apply engineering theory to make some cool stuff 10/10
I enjoyed the module towards the end. When you understand the concept the questions arent bad at all. The labs arent too bad but they correct the labs inconsistently for the different TA's
