This module will examine core areas of sports law as they affect athletes, spectators and organizers of sports events. In particular, it will consider contractual issues in sport between the various actors, the structure and powers of sports associations and the role of intellectual property in sports and sports marketing. Framing the module will be an examination of the global governance of sports and its judicial enforcement by the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
