MATH10200 Matrix Algebra
This is an introductory module in matrix algebra designed for computer science students. A course outline is as follows: Systems of linear equations (solving systems of linear equations, in/consistent solutions, solution sets), Matrix Operations (addition and multiplication of matrices, properties of matrix operations (assoc., dist. Laws etc), transpose, trace, inverse, determinant, partitioned matrices), and applications. Students may be introduced to a mathematics software system.
