PERS10130 Intro to Sports Injuries
Injuries are commonly sustained by individuals who participate in sport. Across sports, injuries are associated with significant participation loss, treatment costs, decreased athlete and team performance, as well as potential long-term negative side-effects. The protection of athletes' health and the prevention of sports injuries are key policy concerns of many national governing bodies of sport. Considering this, it is essential that all stakeholders (e.g., coaches, players, etc …) have a fundamental understanding of sports injuries, their treatment, and their prevention.
Intro to Sports Injuries (PERS10130) provides students with an introduction to sport injuries, their treatment, and their prevention. This module will be of particular interest to individuals who participate in sport, as well as those who are involved in coaching sports. Intro to Sports Injuries (PERS10130) is delivered in an online format.
Each module topic will be presented as a separate work package. Each work package will be allocated different learning outcomes. The attainment of these learning outcomes will be achieved by engaging with the online learning content and associated specified learning activities. The specified learning activities will require students to read and critically analyze specific journal articles and view online content (e.g., podcasts, videos). Students will also be expected to engage in autonomous learning to further develop and advance their understanding of the module topics.

REVIEWSMODULE INFO
A very handy one if you can get into it. The two MCQs are online and not invigilated, 25 questions each with no negative marking. Lots of examinable studies to read was the only downside.
