PHIL10040 Introduction to Ethics
REVIEWSMODULE INFO
Really enjoyed this class, the professor is engaging and the content is more modern and relevant philosophy instead of stuff that was written hundreds of years ago. Would not recommend taking this if you want an easy A, this class definitely takes some effort and a lot of reading. Would recommend keeping up with the weekly readings and annotating/taking notes while reading them because the final exam will be on a few of the papers read in class and it sucks to cram them all in right before the exam. You are allowed a cheat sheet for the exam as well which is great
many people recommend this as an easy elective, you're definitely getting humbled in this course lol if you don't have good essay skill. hefty readings + essay assessments, but it's not super necessary to read everything to get a good grade and you can definitely procrastinate til the last day and do fine. i really enjoyed it though, super interesting and the professors are super nice and approachable, granted me an extension on the day of the due date. your grades depend a lot on your tutor, so definitely shop around before finalizing on a tutorial
Not as easy as you think, if you are looking for a walk in the park elective. If you don't have great essay skills you may struggle to do well, as the material is quite difficult. Overall enjoyable however
