This stage 2 module is designed to equip students with the tools and skills necessary to analyse the operation of the agri-food economy in a national and global context. Students will gain insights into the structure and driving forces of food markets; develop their capacity to analyse producer, consumer and market behaviour as it applies to the sector and assess the implications of agricultural, trade and environmental policy for the agri-food sector and the wider economy.
