STAT20110 Introduction to Probability
This module is an introduction to probability, with examples and applications. This includes formulating a probabilistic experiment in a mathematical way, calculating probabilities of events, updating probabilities given known information and understanding the quantitative outputs of an experiment by their distributions and expected values. The central limit theorem will also be studied which is a powerful tool for estimating probabilities involving a large number of variables.

The final exam layout is consistent. Everything up to continuous probability is pretty much common sense but the materials that come after would need to put in a bit of work. would advise to go to tutorials after the reading week. overall solid module.
I would recommend it if you have a strong interest in maths. It can be quite challenging at times especially the latter part of the course.
